Anyone who has some knowledge of Inari Saami can be an ordinary member of the Inari Saami Language Association. Ordinary members do not have to be from an Inari Saami family. Proficiency in Inari Saami is sufficient as long as one understands spoken and written Inari Saami and can speak the language at least a little.

Ordinary members have the right to participate, speak and vote at the Association’s annual meeting. In addition, ordinary members receive the Anarâš magazine and Anarâš calendar. Ordinary members may also receive a discounted price on the Association’s publications.

If you do not speak Inari Saami but want to support the activities of the Inari Saami Language Association, you can also join as a supporting member. Supporting members have the right to participate in the Association’s annual meeting, and they receive both the Anarâš magazine and Anarâš calendar. Supporting members do not receive discounts on the Association’s publications.

The Association also has honorary members who have the right to participate in the annual meeting and receive both the Anarâš magazine and Anarâš calendar. They also receive the same discounts as ordinary members. Honorary members do not pay membership fees.
